Attorney Sarno was recently honored by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 under 40 criminal defense trial attorney in 2017.

Asaf has been defending the rights of the accused since 2008.

​

As a Haywood Burns Memorial Fellow for Social and Economic Justice, he worked at a non-profit law firm that represented inmates on Georgia's death row.

​

While awaiting admission into the Bar, he worked as a senior paralegal for the Monroe County Public Defender's Office, where he researched complex legal issues and drafted persuasive legal motions. 

​

Shortly after becoming a member of the New York Bar, Asaf was hired on as an associate at a prestigious Manhattan law firm, where he handled all of the firm's state criminal cases.

​

In 2013, Attorney Sarno opened the Law Office of Asaf J. Sarno, where over the past ten years he has represented folks accused of crimes ranging from larceny, domestic violence, OUI-Liquor, armed robbery, sexual abuse/assault/rape, possession of a controlled substance, drug distribution, drug trafficking, assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with the intent to murder, malicious destruction of property, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, attempted murder, and many many more. Asaf enjoys spending time with his stunningly beautiful wife and their four incredible children. He also enjoys hiking, hockey, cycling, chess, and reading.
